SBH Monica Beach is located on a white sandy beach, in extensive palm gardens with facilities and entertainment for all the family.

Location

SBH Monica Beach is located directly on the beach in Costa Calma, in the centre of the resort. It is 4 minutes walk (350 metres) to the supermarket, shops, bars and places to eat in the Sotovento CC. Alternatively, a 10 minute walk (850 metres) in the opposite direction will give you further choices at the El Palmoral shopping centre, the Bahia Calma CC and Costa Calma CC. Diving and windsurfing centres are available nearby.

Costa Calma is approx 71km away from Fuerteventura Airport.

Facilities

SBH Monica Beach is set in extensive beach front gardens and boasts 2 outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heated), 2 children's pools and sun terraces with lounger, parasols and bar service.

Further leisure facilities and activities available at the hotel include 4 tennis courts, a sports court, a fitness gym, massage treatments, volleyball, billiards and table tennis, mini golf and a children's playground. The entertainment team provide a variety of activities for adults, a kids club for children aged 4 to 12 and evening entertainment such as shows and live music. (6 nights a week in season).

Social and dining venues at the hotel include a buffet restaurant, a lounge bar, a beach bar, a pool-side bar and a pool-side snack bar.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, currency exchange and free cot hire. There is also WiFi hot spots, pool towel hire, medical assistance and a laundry service (with local charges).

Rooms

The complex accommodates guests in 410 rooms, comprising twin rooms, family rooms and apartments. All accommodation has a bathroom and a balcony or terrace, some with sea views. Apartments also have a bedroom and a kitchenette and Family rooms have two bedrooms.

All room types have satellite TV, a telephone, a safe (local charge), a fan, a hair dryer, a mini fridge or mini bar. Baby cots are available on request.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast (7.30am to 10am), lunch (12.30pm to 2pm) and dinner (6pm to 9pm) all served buffet style in the main restaurant. With meals wine, beer, soft drinks and hot drinks are offered. There is a snack buffet available in the snack bar at 2.30pm and afternoon tea and coffee time with biscuits and cakes between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Ice cream is served at the main restaurant during lunch and dinner and at the snack bar at snack time. Locally produced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer, spirits, some cocktails, soft drinks and hot drinks are served at the pool bar (11am to 6pm), the snack bar (11am to 6pm, excluding cocktails) and at the salon bar (6pm to 11pm).

All Inclusive sport facilities include darts and football (weekly), gym, keep fit, French bowls (weekly), sauna (six times a week), table tennis, day tennis, volleyball/waterpolo (2/3 times a week), whirlpool, beach/pool towels (with deposit), daytime entertainment programme from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to5 pm (includes rifle shooting, bingo, quiz times, fashion shows) and evening entertainment between 7.30pm and 11pm (cabaret shows, shows, mini-disco). For children aged 4 to 12 years there are organised treasure hunts, crafts (i.e. making pirate masks) and beach games from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 3pm to 5pm.
