Malta has a very comfortable climate and even the winter months can be warm. Between April and September there is virtually non-stop sunshine, March and April can be a little cooler with a touch of rain and December to February can be really wet.
July to September are the hottest months with temperatures reaching, on average 30ºC (86ºF) and August can be even hotter, with temperatures soaring to 40ºC (104ºF). December to February are the coldest months with an average temperature of 15ºC (59ºF) but there is still plenty of sunshine.
