Overview

In a remote location a short drive from the centre of Carvoeiro, the Vale del Rei offers both hotel rooms and self-catering town-houses set in tranquil gardens.

Location

The complex is located in the countryside approx 3km from the beach and 6km from Carvoeiro, within 20km of seven golf courses. The hotel also runs a shuttle service to the Marinha Beach, golf courses and resort centre.

The resort of Carvoeiro is approx 67km from Faro Airport.

Vale Del Rei Hotels and Villas has two outdoor swimming pools and a children's pool with surrounding sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols. There is also a large Mediterranean garden with lake, a children's playground and a seasonal kids club (age 2-12yrs).

The complex also features a Spa with a Turkish bath, sauna and a range of massages and beauty treatments including reiki, stone massages, chocolate therapy and shiatsu.

The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining and specialises in freshly cooked Portuguese dishes. There is also a poolside snack-bar and a cafe-bar with regular live music, large screen TV and pool table.

The complex has parking spaces and services offered include 24-hour reception, free WiFi zone, babysitting (on request), car and bicycle rental, free parking, conference facilities and a shuttle service to the beach and Carvoeiro village.

Rooms

There are a total of 72 rooms; consisting of 35 guest rooms (max 2 people), 15 suites (max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 12) and 22 town-houses (max 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children under 12).

The guest rooms and suites are air conditioned and have queen-size/twin bed(s), ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV, a safe, mini-bar, free WiFi access, multi-line telephone and a balcony. The suites have one bedroom and a living area.

The two-storey villas are air conditioned and have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room with sofa bed, dining table and kitchenette, and a private terrace with garden. They are equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and hob, internet access, multi-line telephone, satellite TV and a safe (some local charges may apply).
