The THB Tropical Island is a welcoming hotel with pool facilities for all ages, including a splash park for younger guests and an adults-only Premium Zone where those seeking some quiet time can relax.
Location
The hotel is ideally located in Lanzarote, in the tourist area of Playa Blanca, 2km from the beach and 600m from the shopping area. Wonderful Papagayo beaches are only 3km away.
The resort of Playa Blanca is approx 31km from Lanzarote Airport.
Facilities
The facilities provided for guests at the THB Tropical Island include a 24-hour reception, internet corner (local charge), Wi-Fi, laundry services, conference and meeting rooms, a mini market and parking. There is also a buffet style restaurant and four bars.
The complex has two large swimming pools, one of which features slides for children, and there's a further eight smaller pools next to each apartment block along with four children's pools. There is also an adults-only Premium Zone with a semi-Olympic pool and chill-out space with Balinese beds and a bar.
Further sports and leisure facilities provided includes a gym, tennis court, seven-a-side football, volleyball court, table tennis, table football, billiards and a Thermal spa with Turkish bath, toning pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. There is also a children's playground, children's club and entertainment programme for adults and children.
This hotel also offers an exciting football camp run by specialists with over 12 years' experience. Children (ages 5-12) will get the chance to train with a professional player for two and a half hours a day, receive a medal at the closing ceremony.
This sports programme is proving popular, so make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment!

Guests can choose between Premium Apartments and Premium Connecting Apartments. All accommodation features a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, bathroom, hairdryer and a balcony or terrace. Please note that air conditioning is only available from 1st May - 31st October.
