Please note: A compulsory departure tax of approx 800 Mexican Pesos (42-45GBP per person (Scottish pounds not accepted)) will be payable locally at the airport.
Please note that a new hotel is currently under construction next door to the Royal Playa Del Carmen. Land has been excavated and the foundations are being laid. Due to the nature of the work, some noise and visual disturbance will be experienced, particularly near one of the swimming pools. The hotelier is committed to ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay and will allocate rooms away from the work where possible.
