Location

R2 Rio Calma Spa Hotel is located at the edge of the resort on the sea front and approx 5 minutes walk to the sandy beaches at the top of the bay in Costa Calma. The Canada Supermarket is just over 10 minutes walk away (1.1km). There are also 2 commercial centres within 15-20 minutes walk (1.5km); the Canada del Rio and the Sotovento CC, with supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants.

Costa Calma is approx 71km away from Fuerteventura Airport.

Facilities

R2 Rio Calma Spa Hotel is set in landscaped sea front gardens and features an artificial lake with it's own beach, which is used for dining on special evenings. In addition, there is a large lagoon style pool, a separate children's pool, feature bridges, a water fall and sun terraces with loungers and parasols around the pools and alongside the lake.

The Spa and Wellness centre features an indoor heated pool with integrated jacuzzis and various massage showers; a Turkish bath, a sauna and a Vichy shower, hydrotherapy baths and a bi-thermic shower. There is also a hair-dressers and 3 treatment cabins with a menu of massage and beauty treatments available (local charges).

Further leisure facilities and activities include a gym, tennis court, paddle court, volleyball court, multi-sport court, squash court, aerobics area, petanque, a games room and a TV room. The animation team organise daytime activities such as keep fit, archery, darts and football and a mini-club for children. In the evenings there are regular shows or live music.

Social and dining venues include a restaurant, a dining terrace, a coffee shop, a lounge bar, a pool-side bar and a disco bar. The main restaurant offers Canarian and international dishes with show cooking and theme nights.
