Location

Quinta das Vistas Palace Gardens is located on a hill affording views over the Atlantic, Funchal city centre and the Madeira mountains. It is approx 20 minutes walk into the old town of Funchal or you can take the hotel courtesy bus which runs several times a day. Alternatively there is a bus stop just 3 minutes walk away. The hotel is approx 21km from Madeira Airport.

Note that breakfasts remain served at Quinta das Vistas, only Dinner will be served at Quinta Bela São Tiago.##

Quinta das Vistas Palace Gardens has a south facing swimming pool complex and sun terrace with bar service, sun loungers, parasols and sitting areas. The second outdoor pool is heated and is linked to the indoor heated swimming pool with a waterfall feature.

Further leisure facilities include a Spa and a fitness gym. The Spa offers a full range of massages, spa treatments, wraps and facials. It features a Turkish bath, a jacuzzi, a sensation shower, ice chamber, foot spa and treatment rooms.

Social and dining venues include a guest lounge and reading room, a piano bar with a terrace, a pool-side bar serving drinks, snacks and lunches and the main restaurant. The restaurant, La Belle Terrasse, has the elegant styling of times gone by and a terrace with open and covered area for alfresco dining with views to Funchal. It is open for lunch and dinner with a gourmet menu.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception with English speaking staff, WiFi in public areas, currency exchange and golf booking with discounted green fees.

This 4 storey hotel has 71 hotel rooms comprised of 63 twin room (2 of which are accessible), 3 junior suites, 4 suites and 1 presidential suite on the top floor. The rooms are elegantly styled and each have a private balcony with views to the gardens, mountains, city and ocean.

All room types have a marble bathroom with a bath and/or shower and feature cable TV with 30 international channels, internet access, a telephone, a safe, bathrobes, slippers, a hair dryer, heating and air conditioning.
