Pestana Dom Joao II Villas & Beach Resort forms part of the Pestana Dom Joao II complex, where guests are able to use many of the shared on-site facilities, including two restaurants, three bars, indoor and outdoor pools, kids pools, play-areas and a seasonal kids club.
Location
Located on the beach front, the complex is well situated for sports lovers with nine golf courses nearby, two tennis clubs, scuba diving and bowling. The centre of Alvor is just 1km away and the city of Portimao is approx 6km.

Rooms
Just a heads up - if you're booked into a Standard Room then you'll be located in the Beach Villas, and if you're booked into a Deluxe Room, then you'll be located in the Hotel Dom Joao II.
There are 44 villas with one, two or three bedrooms, all feature air-conditioning, furnished terrace or balcony, satellite TV, safe deposit box (payable locally), direct dial telephone, balcony/terrace, private bathroom, hairdryer, living area with sofa-bed and kitchenette equipped with microwave, two cooking rings, fridge, toaster and coffee-maker (two bedroom villas also benefit from a dishwasher).
