Location

Mastichari Bay Hotel is located on the waterfront in Mastichari Bay with a small private beach and wooden jetties. The long sandy main beach is 2 minutes walk away where there are loungers and a water sports centre with surfing, sailing and kiteboarding (all with local charges). There are shops and restaurants around the small fishing harbour and throughout this seaside village. Boat trips are available to the neighbouring island of Kalymnos and there is a water park approx 2km away. Kos port is approx 20 minutes drive away and the hotel is approx 7km from Kos Airport.

Facilities

Mastichari Bay Hotel is set in a colourful garden overlooking the Aegean Sea with a small private beach and 2 wooden piers for each access into the water. In the garde there are 2 outdoor swimming pools and a baby pool, a sun terrace, sun loungers and umbrellas.

Leisure facilities and activities at the hotel include a tennis court, fitness gym, beach volleyball, a children's playground, a games room, billiards and table tennis.

The unobtrusive animation team organise a programme of activities such as aqua gym, keep fit, waterpolo, boules and games. There is also a kids club with 2 sessions a day. In the evenings there is entertainment such as quizzes, dances and shows.

Social and dining venues include a restaurant, a taverna, a lobby lounge, a pool-side bar serving drinks and snacks from morning 'til late and; a terrace bar serving drinks and cocktails in the evenings. The main restaurant has indoor or outdoor dining with views over the garden. It offers choices for children, buffet breakfasts with show cooking, a buffet with salad bar at lunch and an evening buffet including a Greek corner and show cooking. The Greek taverna is set on the waterfront and serves salads, snacks and local dishes throughout the afternoon. The hotel has it's own farm nearby producing the organic fresh fruits and vegetables utilised in the restaurants.

Double rooms sleep up to 3 people and have a double or twin beds, a sitting area, an en-suite with a shower and a furnished balcony or terrace with views to the sea or garden. Superior double rooms have panoramic sea views.

Junior family suites sleep up to 4 people and are a little more spacious than the double rooms. They have a double or single beds, an en-suite with a shower, a balcony or terrace and a kitchenette.

Family suites sleep up to 5 people and have a bedroom with double or twin beds, an open plan room with 3 single beds, a small dining area and kitchenette; a shower room and a balcony or terrace with views to the garden or the sea.
