Overview

In a central location the Jupiter Hotel overlooks the beach at Praia da Rocha, close to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel features indoor and outdoor swimming pools (covered and heated in winter), a spa centre and a gym.

Please note that groups are classed as bookings of 5 or more rooms and a different security and cancellation policy will apply. Stag and hen parties are not allowed.

Please note that during music festival dates, the hotel will request a damage deposit of 250€ per room on arrival. This will be collected by either credit card guarantee or cash. Guests will be reimbursed on check-out, subject to a room inspection.

Just a head's up that tourist tax is not included and will be paid upon arrival.

Location

Jupiter Hotel is situated on the main beach road, overlooking the sea and just moments from Praia da Rocha beach (access by steps), which stretches for approx 7km. Near the hotel there is a good variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and nightlife. Portimao which has a good choice of shops and fish restaurants, Rock Beach and Fort of Santa Catarina are all within easy reach.

The resort of Praia da Rocha is approx 72km from Faro Airport.

Facilities

Jupiter Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, which is heated and covered from (Nov-April) and a sun-terrace with loungers. There is also a fitness gym and a Spa (16+, extra charge) with an indoor hydrodynamics pool, Turkish bath, sauna and massage treatment service.

The main restaurant offers buffets with indoor and outdoor dining and there is also a poolside bar with regular live music. Half Board (breakfast and dinner) and Full Board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) packages include beverages served during lunch and dinner (water, house wine, beer, soft drinks and hotel selected brands).

Amenities and services available to guests include 24-hour reception, currency exchange, internet area, free WiFi zone, luggage storage, laundry service, 24-hour room service, babysitting (on request) and parking (extra charge).

Rooms

There are 180 guest rooms and suites, spread over 8 floors, with lift access to the upper levels. Room categories include standard and family rooms without balcony and a city view; superior rooms with balcony and side sea view; and premium, deluxe and junior suites with balcony and front sea view.

All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, telephone, FREE Wi-Fi, a mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, safe deposit box, air conditioning and heating (some local charges may apply).

Please note that the spa facilities will be closed for maintenance from 18/11/2024 - 25/11/2024.

Just so you know, the hotel will undergo maintenance works from 06/01/2025 to 16/03/2025, during this period some facilities may be limited or closed.
