Situated on the Migjorn Beach, this large resort style complex is the ideal spot for those looking for plenty of on-site facilities and a relaxing beach stay.

Location

Insotel Hotel Formentera Playa is situated right on the Migjorn Beach where you will find the South Beach Club, its chill-out bar, sailing and diving schools. Within 500m of the complex there are a selection of shops, bars and restaurants and the town of San Francisco is about 3km. There is a bus stop at the hotel.

The island of Formentera is easily reached via ferry or water taxi from Ibiza Port. Ibiza Port is approx 10km (15 minutes drive) from Ibiza Airport and the ferry crossing takes approx half hour to reach the port at La Savina on Formentera, where you will find taxis and a regular bus service. Insotel Club Formentera Playa is approx 8km from La Savina port.

Facilities

Insotel Hotel Formentera Playa is set in beach front gardens and has 2 outdoor swimming pools a children's pool and a sun terrace. Loungers and umbrellas are available around the pools (free of charge) and at the beach (local charge). Water sports (local charge) are available at the beach such as catamarans, canoes, windsurfing and sailing.

Further leisure facilities and activities include an indoor pool (mid Sept to mid June), 2 tennis courts (local charge for lighting), a fitness gym, a children's playground, tennis courts, archery, volleyball, table tennis, aerobics, aqua gym and water polo. The entertainment team provide a variety of activities for adults and there is a kids club for children aged 4-6 and 7-12.

Social and dining venues at the hotel include the main buffet restaurant which offers indoor and outdoor dining, international dishes and show cooking; the South Beach Club Restaurant, a pool-side snack bar and a lounge bar with evening entertainment.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, towel service (deposit required), highchairs and a microwave in the main restaurant, free cot hire and air conditioning in public areas. There is also WiFi throughout, an internet corner, bike hire, medical assistance, a beauty salon and a mini market (all with local charges).

Rooms

Insotel Hotel Formentera Playa has a choice of double rooms, superior rooms and junior suites located in the main 4-storey building as well as 2 separate buildings housing the studio apartments.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV with music channel, Wifi internet access (local charge), safe deposit box (local charge), a fridge, a balcony or terrace and a full bathroom with a hairdryer.

Studios come with twin beds and a sofabed (2 singles), a kitchenette with an electric cooker and a fridge.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive package includes all meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner, served buffet style in the main restaurant. During lunch and dinner, wine, beer, soft drinks and water are served.

A choice of snacks and ice-creams are served in the bars between 10.30am and 6pm.

A selection of international and national beverages with and without alcohol are available from 10.30am until midnight.

The services of the beach club are not included in the package.
