IFA Altamarena Hotel is a quiet hotel set in the pretty surroundings of the hotel's tropical garden with direct access to the beach. Suitable for families and couples looking for a beach holiday in an established resort.

Location

IFA Altamarena Hotel enjoys a prime location in Jandia, just 50m from both the Rocamar Beach and the long sands of the Playa del Mattoral. Across the promenade from the hotel is the Cosmo CC and the Palm Garden CC, both with shops and places to eat. The promenade itself is also lined with shops and pavement restaurants. The Jandia lighthouse is less than 10 minutes walk along the beach; the Aloe Vera centre is less than 5 minutes walk away and the harbour at Morro Jable is a half hour walk.

Jandia is approx 90km away from Fuerteventura Airport.

Facilities

IFA Altamarena Hotel has 3 swimming pools including a children's pool and a jacuzzi, set in the gardens with sun-bathing areas and a pool-side bar and terrace.

Sports and leisure facilities include a fitness room, children's playground, aerobics and aqua gym, tennis, volleyball, archery and shooting, bowling, table tennis, pool and darts. Horse riding and watersports are available nearby.

Social and dining venues include a restaurant, a pool-bar and a lounge bar. The restaurant offers buffets of national and international dishes whilst the pool-bar has open and shaded dining areas and serves drinks, meals and snacks. The lounge bar has large screen satellite TV and hosts regular evening entertainment. Dress code applies in the restaurant and you must not wear a bathing suit or trunks, shorts, half long trousers, sports trousers, be without a shirt, barefoot or with beach shoes.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, night security and an internet corner. There is also currency exchange, medical services and car hire (all with local charges).

Please note that for dinner service there is a smart dress code for men and women, so leave your flip flops and shorts in the room and get dressed up.

The hotel has 213 tastefully decorated double rooms, family rooms and suites spread over 3 floors, served by 4 lifts. Cots and accessible rooms are available.

All guest rooms have a bathroom with bath and shower and a furnished balcony or terrace. They feature satellite TV, a telephone, a mini bar, a hairdryer, a safe deposit box (local charge) and air conditioning.

Snacks and locally produced drinks are available from various outlets at sets times throughout the day. Guests may participate in rifle shooting, table tennis and tennis. Water sports are available nearby but there may be a supplement.
