Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas Park Hotel is a spa hotel with excellent standards of accommodation and facilities for families and couples, just a stone throw from the long white sand beach and turquoise water.

Location

Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas Park Hotel is located a stone throw from the wide sandy beach at the entrance to the resort of Jandia. The Ventura CC is 200 metres away with shops, a supermarket and places to eat. There is diving centre, a windsurfing and sailing centre on the beach nearby. The main promenade is just under 15 minutes walk away (1.1km) and the harbour at Morro Jable is approx 4.6km away.

Jandia is approx 90km away from Fuerteventura Airport.

Facilities

Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas Park Hotel has spacious sun terraces and large swimming pools as well as a spa centre which has an indoor pool with massage showers, a sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish baths and a fitness centre. The spa centre also offers massages, beauty treatments including facials, body wraps and scrubs as well as personalised programs.

Further leisure facilities and activities at the hotel include volleyball and basketball, squash (local charge) and tennis courts (local charge - instruction available), aerobics, archery and rifle range, table tennis, snooker, darts, a children's games room and a children's outdoor playground. The entertainment team organise activities during the day, live music and shows in the evening as well as a kids club for ages 4-8, 9-13 and 14-17.

In addition, all guests have access to facilities in the neighbouring hotels, including the Bowling Bar and Games Room at the Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas and the diving centre at the Iberostar Fuerteventura Palace.

Social and dining venues include 2 restaurants, a lounge bar and an entertainment bar. The main restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, offering a wide variety of international buffet dishes along with traditional Canarian cuisine and show cooking. The pool-side restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining and is open for continental breakfasts and buffet lunches of pizza, pasta, salads and deserts. In the evenings drinks are served at the lobby lounge bar, terrace and the entertainment bar which hosts the children's discos and evening entertainments.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception with multi-lingual staff, excursion information, elevators, currency exchange and car parking spaces. There is also WiFi and an internet corner, baby sitting, laundry services, taxi services and car hire (all with local charges).

Rooms

There are 206 hotel rooms comprising 134 suites, 56 junior suites and 16 senior suites. The junior suites have an en-suite bathroom; the suites have the benefit of a separate bedroom and living area and; the senior suites have 2 bedrooms, a living area and 2 bathrooms.

All room types have double/twin beds, a balcony or terrace with views to the sea or the pool. They feature satellite TV with a music channel, a telephone, a safety deposit box (local charge), a mini bar, a hair dryer and balcony or terrace.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (07:30-10:30), Continental breakfast (10:30-12:30), lunch (12:00-15:00) and dinner (18:00-21:00, theme twice weekly), all in buffet style. Breakfast and dinner are served in the main restaurant Betancuria; lunch at the pool bar El Castillo. During meals all drinks (by the glass) are offered. A wide gastronomic selection of snacks is available between 07:30 & 24:00 in different bars and restaurants. Coffee time with cakes is taking place at the main bar every afternoon. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, soft drinks, coffee, infusions, beer, wine, spirits, etc are served from 10:30-01:00 at the main bar.
