In a wonderfully tranquil setting in the historic centre of Tazacorte on the west side of the island, the family-run Hotel Hacienda de Abajo is a carefully and meticulously restored 17th century mansion.

Belonging to a former sugar cane estate and housing a fabulous art collection with exquisite Flemish and French tapestries, sculptures, antique furniture and porcelain, it is refined and unique.

Standing in splendid botanical gardens, the hotel overlooks the ocean and features elegant lounges, 32 individually decorated guest rooms with antique furniture, art and modern amenities, and an a la carte restaurant serving delightful local and international cuisine.

An outdoor swimming pool and a spa with a range of massage and personalised beauty treatments, sauna and Jacuzzi complete the facilities.

This hotel does not allow children under the age of 14 years at any time.
