Golden Residence Hotel is a contemporary hotel with spacious accommodation, sea views, indoor and outdoor pools, all just a few minutes walk from the Forum Madeira Shopping Centre.

Location

Golden Residence Hotel is located on the cliffs above Formosa Beach and just 5 minutes walk from the shops, cafes, fast food outlets and restaurants in the Forum Madeira Shopping Centre. The lido promenade and swimming pool complexes are approx 20 minutes walk away whilst the historic part of Funchal is approx 3.5km from the hotel. The hotel is approx 23km from Madeira Airport.

Golden Residence Hotel has lawned gardens overlooking the sea and the beach below with an outdoor swimming pool sun loungers and parasols.

Further leisure facilities ad activities include an indoor swimming pool, a Spa, a fitness gym, a library and art corner, a TV lounge, The spa offers massage treatments and features a beauty salon, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a jacuzzi.

Social and dining venues include a restaurant offering buffet and A la Carte services, a lounge bar serving coffee and afternoon tea as well as cocktails as well as a sports bar with large screen TV and a pool table.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception with multi-lingual staff, WiFi hot spots, tourist information and car parking spaces. There is also an internet corner, hair dresser, safe deposit boxes and laundry services (all with local charges).

Rooms

There are 172 hotel rooms comprising twin rooms (sleep up to 2 adults and an infant 0-2 years old), suites (sleep up to 3 adults) and one bedroom apartments (sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children).

The twin rooms have a balcony and a bathroom with a shower. They feature satellite TV, a telephone, alarm clock, a mini bar, safe deposit box and air conditioning. The suites and apartments have the added benefit of a bedroom, a living area with a pull-out sofa and a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave.

## Please note DUBAI Madeira project which is currently under construction, the machines are closer to the hotel and may cause some visual and noise disturbance. Guests staying in block A (suite and sgl categories) may occasionally be affected by some noise disturbance. The works take place from Monday to Friday - and any kind of noise can only be made between 9am and 6pm - times when our guests are in Block C (the furthest from the works) having breakfast or already on excursions/activities outside the hotel. The will obviously be available to compensate guests staying in Block A who are affected by the noise disturbance with a credit for consumption in the hotel (15 euros per guest/per stay). ##
