Overview


Don Antonio Hotel is a modern Spa hotel with panoramic views to the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding wooded hillsides. The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sea views from most of the guest rooms and runs a shuttle service to the nearby beach.


Location


Don Antonio Hotel is set in large natural grounds with panoramic sea views, surrounded by wooded hills and countryside. It is approx 5 minutes walk to the supermarket (400 metres) and 15 minutes walk to Paguera Beach (1.3km). Alternatively you can hop on the hotel shuttle bus which runs to the town and the beach several times a day. The hotel is approx 33km from Palma Mallorca Airport.


Facilities


Don Antonio Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool for adults and a further pool for children, both of which are surrounded by a wide sun terrace with sun loungers, shades and bar service.


Further leisure facilities and activities include a Spa, a fitness gym and a children's playground. The spa features an air conditioned indoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, jacuzzi and a sauna. In addition the hotel can assist with booking a variety of activities including golf (there are 3 courses nearby), tennis, hiking, sailing and diving.


Social and dining venues include a restaurant, a lounge bar and a pools-side bar serving drinks and snacks (summer season). The restaurant offers buffets of international and Mediterranean cuisine.


Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, luggage assistance, free car parking spaces and a shuttle bus to the beach and town centre. There is also an internet cafe, laundry services, medical assistance and baby sitting (all with local charges).

Special Information

Please note; A new Eco-Tax has been approved in the Balearic Islands. This Eco Tax will apply for stays from the 01.07.2016 (tax also payable for stays that include this date). This tax is payable directly to the accommodation, this includes hotels, apartments, villas, hostals, B&B's and cruise ships. The amount payable is between 0.5 euro and 2 Euro per person per night depending on the category of the establishment and the season.

As important as it is to have fun whilst on your holiday, it’s much more important to make sure you stay safe and follow the rules set out in your chosen destination during your time there. From April 1st there will be some changes on drinking and eating on the picturesque island of Majorca, and if you’re found eating or drinking on the streets of certain areas of Palma you’ll face a fine of up to €3,000. This new law only applies to certain areas of the island’s capital including the centre, Cala Major, Paseo Maritimo and all of Playa de Palma. The fine also applies to bars so they can no longer promote happy hours or show alcohol displays. Local police will be focusing their attention on these popular tourist areas to control drinking and antisocial behaviour in a bid to reduce the strains on A&E departments. You’ll still be able to enjoy the delicious food and drink on the island, but you’ll need to make sure you keep inside bars, restaurants and clubs when doing so. A lot of popular bars will have barriers to stop partygoers from taking drinks out onto the streets which, as an added benefit will prevent illegal sellers and pickpockets getting in.
