Location
Disney's Wilderness Lodge offers a complimentary water taxi to Magic Kingdom Park, and a complimentary bus service to the other popular parks, including Animal Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Orlando International Airport is around 30 minutes by car.
Facilities
There are two swimming pools, one offering spa-like whirlpools and a waterslide, and the other offering a beach-like appearance. There are also poolside competitions, trivia quizzes and team relays to keep the whole family entertained. In the evenings there is a magical light show on the lake. There's also a health club with cardio and weights equipment.
There's a choice of five restaurants and bars, offering Western-style BBQ dishes and traditional American fare. For an extra special experience for the kiddos, this resort offers storybook dining which allows them to meet characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and enjoy dishes that are themed around the Disney classic.
Rooms
This resort is made up of cosy standard rooms with lake, garden or pool views. If you want an extra special view, some rooms offer partial views of Magic Kingdom Park, allowing guests to see the magical fireworks show from the patio or balcony. Every room also has free wifi, a flat-screen TV, drinks cooler, hairdryer, bathroom with shower, iron and ironing board, safe, tea and coffee maker, and complimentary pool towels.
