Caravia Beach Hotel is located on a blue flag private sandy beach in large green gardens providing a family friendly environment with water sports, leisure activities and a full entertainment programme for adults and children. Accommodation includes standard rooms and executive suites with private pools.

Location

Caravia Beach Hotel is located on the blue flag sandy beach in the small resort of Marmari. The waters are clear and there are good opportunities for water sports, particularly windsurfing and kite surfing. The Alykes salt lake lagoon is approx 10 minutes walk away where you can see migrating birds, (flamingoes and herons in the autumn) and forms part of a protected area. On the other side of the lake you will find the small resort of Tigkaki. The hotel is approx 14km from Kos Airport.

Facilities

Caravia Beach Hotel has extensive green gardens with a large outdoor pool complex comprising 3 swimming pools, a pool and waterpark for children (ages 5-12), an outdoor hot tub, sun terraces and dining patios. The gardens flow onto a 1km long private stretch of beach where there is a water sports centre (separate management, local charges) offering a variety of activities such as water skiing, pedal boats, windsurfing and kite surfing. Sun loungers, parasols and towels are available freely around the pool and at the beach.

Further leisure facilities and activities include a tennis court (local charge for floodlights), a fitness centre, mini golf, aerobics, pilates and yoga sessions, water polo, beach volleyball, table tennis, darts, basketball, bike rides (local charge) and a children's playground.

The animation team organise pool games and activities throughout the day for adults and a mini club for children over the age of 4. In the evenings, entertainment includes theme nights, parties, live music and a mini disco for children.

Social and dining venues include a beach bar, a pool-side bar, a taverna and a restaurant. The main restaurant utilises fresh local produce with varied buffets at all services as well as regular theme nights, children's menus and home-made pizzas. The Taverna is located by the pool and offers home-made Mediterranean dishes. The main bar serves coffees and cocktails in the evenings whilst drinks and snacks are available throughout the day at the beach bar and the pool bar.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception and free WiFi throughout, an elevator and beach towel hire. There is also baby sitting and a modern conference centre, a hair dresser and a mini market (all with local charges).

Rooms

Accommodation comprises standard double/twin rooms, bungalows, accessible rooms and executive suites with private pools. All room types feature Wi-Fi, an electronic safe, seasonal air conditioning is available upon request (from 01/06 to 30/09). and an en-suite bathroom.

The double rooms are located in the main building and have a French balcony. Accessible rooms are similar to the double rooms with the addition of satellite TV, a mini fridge and bathroom modifications.

The bungalows are located in the gardens and near the pool. They sleep up to 4 people and have a bedroom, a lounge and a private balcony or terrace and enhanced amenities such as satellite TV and a mini fridge.

The executive suites have a bedroom and lounge, a jacuzzi bathroom, a garden with private swimming pool and enhanced amenities such as a Nespresso coffee machine, flat screen satellite TVs, a CD player, a mini fridge, bathrobes and slippers.
