The hotel is situated on the beach and is around 5km from downtown Puerto Plata, although some shops and restaurants can be found within 2.5km of the hotel.

There is a large outdoor swimming pool for both adults and children which is surrounded by a sun terrace furnished with sunbeds and parasols, and a towel service. Sporting activities include table tennis, volleyball, tennis and there is a range of watersports available at the beach (some may incur a local charge).
Younger guests may participate in kids' club activities or let off steam in the playground, and there is a relaxing Spa offering a range of beauty and massage treatments, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi (local charges apply).
Guests can dine in either the International buffet restaurant or one of the three a'la carte restaurants (reservation may be required, and some age restrictions apply). There is also a snack bar by the beach, a pool bar, a lounge bar and a night club.
