Location

Baros Island Resort Maldives Hotel is located in the North Male Atoll surrounded by the Indian Ocean. The island can be reached via speedboat from Male International airport. taking approx 25 minutes.

Facilities

Baros Island Resort Maldives Hotel has a PADI scuba diving and water sports centre. There are 30 nearby diving spots accessible by boat as well as a house reef where guests can snorkel just off the beach.

The Spa is set in a tropical garden and offers a menu of eastern therapies, beauty and massage treatments. It features private suites with a steam bath, relaxation area and rainfall shower; a spa boutique, a guest lounge, a relaxation sala and a yoga pavillion with air conditioning.

Social and dining venues include 3 restaurants and 2 bars. The highly acclaimed Lighthouse Restaurant is set over the blue waters of the Indian Ocean; it offers a gourmet menu and has a deck where you can watch the rays and fish in the water below. The setting for the Cayenne Grill is thatched gazebos over the lagoon; it is open for lunches such as grill platters of meats and freshly caught fish, pizzas and salads. The Lime Restaurant offers a contemporary setting with indoor and outdoor dining serving buffet breakfasts, healthy snacks throughout the day and a menu of Asian cuisine in the evenings.

The elegant Lounge Bar is the best spot on the island for a sundowner with live bands playing jazz and blues music every Friday night. The Sails bar is set amid the palm gardens where you can laze in a hammock with a cocktail and views to the lagoon.

Rooms

Baros Island Resort Maldives Hotel comprises of 45 beach-front villas and 30 over-water villas, styled with natural elements and contemporary furnishings. All villas have a private sun deck with direct access to the lagoon and furnished with sun loungers, a table and chairs. The villas also have a bathroom with a bath, shower, WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Some beach-side villas have a private pool and some have an outdoor rain shower.

The villas feature a king-size bed, a sofa bed, WiFi, flat screen satellite TV, I-pod docking station, DVD/CD player and surround sound, a kettle, a coffee maker, a wine chiller, safety deposit box, telephone, iron/ironing board, pillow menu, yoga mats, beach bag, flip flops, beach loungers and air conditioning.
