Overview

Baobab Suites provides high standards of service, contemporary styling and leisure facilities for all ages. It is at the quieter end of the resort and approx 10 minutes walk from the beach and upmarket shopping venues of El Duque.

Just a heads up that there will be a 200 euro deposit being taken upon check-in, this can be used against extra charges throughout your stay, or in case of damage. It will be returned after the department.

Location

Baobab Suites are located in an elevated position in El Duque with commanding views over the resort and the Costa Adeje. It is approx 1km from the sandy beach and the El Duque Shopping Centres. The Spa at the Gran Hotel Bahia el Duque is just a stone's throw away and activities such as water-sports, cycling and golf are easily accessible. It is approx 7.5km from Siam Water Park and 5km from Playa de Las Americas. The hotel is approx 21km from Tenerife South Airport.

Facilities

Baobab Suites is home to the Activate Sports Club and has outdoor swimming pools and contemporary styled sun terraces with views over the resort.

Leisure facilities and activities include the sports club with a sand garden for beach volleyball or sunbathing; a fitness gym with classes and fitness sessions and; a wellness centre offering massage treatments, facials, hair dressing and beauty treatments. For children there is a well equipped play room which is open every day - depending on occupancy and season - for children aged 4-12. The kids club is closed over lunch. Little ones ages 0-4 are welcome but must be supervised by their parent or guardian.

Social and dining venues include 3 restaurants, a gastro bar and a cafe. The newly renovated BB restaurant is open from morning until night and features a decked terrace with views over the coast. Sucas restaurant is open 6 nights a week and offers a menu of dishes cooked with the freshest of ingredients. The Xispa bar is open in the evenings until 1am for drinks, tapas and burgers. At the Sports Club there is a bar and restaurant with terrace serving breakfasts, salads and pre/post workout snacks. Bite cafe is open from early morning until early evening for coffee and cake or light meals in the plaza. It also has a deli counter, drinks and store cupboard goodies to take back to your suites.

Please note that Half Board and Full Board do not include drinks.

Just so you know, from 04.09.23 to 01.11.23 Fuel Restobar at Activate Sports Club, will be closed. Beverages will be available from a new kiosk located in the small square between our paddle courts.

Also, Sucás Restaurant will be closed for a makeover from Spring 2024. The reopening will have a new name and a different gastronomic option on the 1st July 2025.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, WiFi, lift access to upper floors and car parking spaces. There is also room service, laundry services, medical services and bicycle hire (all with local charges).

Rooms

There are 125 suites at Baobab Suites, all of which are spacious with contemporary design and modern appliances. The accommodation ranges from studios to 4 bedroom penthouse suites with private pool and jacuzzi. Private pools and/or jacuzzis are available with many of the 1,2 an 3 bedroom suites.

Typically, accommodation comprises separate bedrooms, an open plan lounge-diner with a fitted kitchen, a bathroom with a bath and/or a walk-in rain shower and a furnished terrace. The suites are equipped with WiFi, flat screen satellite TV, a fridge-freezer, an induction hob, a convection microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, ironing set, a telephone, a safety deposit box (local charge), a hair dryer, heating and air conditioning.
