Location
A 13 minute drive from Venice Marco Polo airport to the hotel, to get to the City of Venice you can take a 19 minute drive to Piazzale Roma, or there's a bus from just outside the hotel. Take the 11 minute walk from Piazzale Roma to Basilica Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, with paintings by Titian, a statue by Donatello and Titian's tomb. From Piazzale Roma you can take the Vaporetto line down to Rialto to view the iconic Rialto Bridge in just 15 minutes, and the bustling market neighbourhood of Rialto for the authentic local experience. From Rialto Bridge it's a short 8 minute walk to the stunning Piazza San Marco where you can stop for a coffee at Caffe Florian, see the Basilica di San Marco or tour round the Doge's Palace for some history. Near the hotel on the mainland is the Piazza Ferretto with its' shops, cafes and restaurants is a 10 minute walk from LH Sirio.
