A tropical island get away, the Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Hotel is set amid 43 acres of palm trees and white sand shores, surrounded by the turquoise water of the lagoon.

Location

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Hotel enjoys a tropical island location, fringed with white sandy shores, a blue lagoon and coral reef. The island of Meedhupparu is in the Raa Atoll and, from Male International Airport, can be reached by seaplane in approximately 40 minutes.

Facilities

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Hotel is set in 43 acres of tropical greenery with the surrounding lagoon and coral reef providing a worthy spot for snorkelling and diving. The diving centre offers certified courses and there are also opportunities for paddle boarding, snorkelling, jet skiing, catamaran sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. (Diving and water sports are with local charges).

The resort has a private beach as well as a swimming pool and a variety of land based leisure facilities and activities such as beach volleyball, a fitness gym, tennis and a Spa. The Chavana Spa features treatments rooms, a steam room, a sauna and a relaxation area, offering a range of massage treatments, manicures and pedicures. There are also excursions (local charge) to embark on such as boat trips to nearby islands, sunset cruises and night fishing trips.

Social and dining venues include a main buffet restaurant, three a la carte restaurants, serving Indian, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine and four bars, including a pool bar. All inclusive meals and refreshments are served at a range of restaurants and bars throughout the island. These guests can also benefit from a selection of mini bar refreshments (at no extra charge) and additional room amenities, such as flip flops and beach bags.

Amenities and services available to guests include reception and WiFi hot spots. There is also a gift shop, laundry service and a doctor (all with additional charges).

Rooms

The resort is comprised of Beach Villas each styled with wooden interiors, a terrace and a shower. The Villas feature satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar (extra charge), an in-room safe, a hair dryer and a ceiling fan.

If you're booking one of the Beach Villas for three adults and one child, then be aware that two adults will have to share a bed with the child, and the other adult will have to stay in the single bed!
