Visiting Los Cristianos

Kissed by sunlight and loved by holidaymakers of all kinds, Los Cristianos offers plenty of things to do all year round. Lazy beach days together are brilliant but the kid-friendly shallows aren’t the only draw for families. Why not take your cheeky monkeys to the Monkey Park? This zoo lets you experience the monkey business up close, with walk-through enclosures and a special focus on safeguarding endangered primate species. Lemurs and guinea pigs are homed here too, so this attraction is a great way to learn about animals and the natural world – and enjoy the warm weather at the same time!

For couples – although this activity can be brilliant for families and groups too – we recommend a Los Cristianos stargazing tour. The position of Tenerife on the world map means there’s very little light pollution, creating the perfect conditions to see stars, constellations, and even planets, on a clear night. Even if you don’t book a tour, make sure you look up in the evenings for an awesome sight. Prefer something livelier? Visit the Los Cristianos Market for a good old-fashioned bargain hunt. This is the largest market in the south of Tenerife and is a great spot to find souvenirs or a treat for yourself. It would be rude not to.
