Beach holidays in Los Cristianos
Las Vistas is another local beach in Los Cristianos, and arguably one of the most popular beaches in Tenerife. This stretch of coast curves in a horseshoe shape, offering breathtaking views of the seascape. Here you’ll find plenty of sunbeds as well as local diving schools, snack bars and an array of restaurants in the area, so whether you’re eager to dive head-first into some watersports or simply stretch out on the golden sands, you can soak up the sunshine however you choose.

The beachfront promenade is one of the best places to get a good feel for life in Los Cristianos. Grab a pit-stop pint on your way back from a beach day, enjoy an afternoon ice cream in the sunshine or stroll down to the seafront for an evening meal by the sea.
If you’re a seafood lover, then you’re in luck. It doesn’t get any fresher than when you’re right by the shores. Head over to Restaurante Agua Marina, which is nestled right by the stunning city harbour and you’ll be treated to some of the highest-rated seafood in the resort here (oh and the views are great too).
A trip to Los Cristianos wouldn’t be complete without sampling Tenerife’s best-kept secret treat - the wine of course. Whether you head off to a local vineyard or you simply opt for a bottle of the home-grown house with your evening meal – it has got to be done.
Visiting Los Cristianos
For couples – although this activity can be brilliant for families and groups too – we recommend a Los Cristianos stargazing tour. The position of Tenerife on the world map means there’s very little light pollution, creating the perfect conditions to see stars, constellations, and even planets, on a clear night. Even if you don’t book a tour, make sure you look up in the evenings for an awesome sight. Prefer something livelier? Visit the Los Cristianos Market for a good old-fashioned bargain hunt. This is the largest market in the south of Tenerife and is a great spot to find souvenirs or a treat for yourself. It would be rude not to.
