Villajoyosa, Costa Blanca, Spain
Villajoyosa still maintains its quiet atmosphere, with its lovely coloured houses in the town centre, and for most people it is the ideal counterpart to the sometimes crowded Benidorm.
Villajoyosa
Some 10km from the bustling resort of Benidorm, Villajoyosa provides a great alternative for a holiday on the Costa Blanca. The long stretch of sandy beach is backed by a promenade lined with palm trees, shops, bars, restaurants and the iconic multi-coloured houses, ending at the towns fishing port.
