The bay is sheltered from the wind and the lush greenery gives parts of it quite a tropical feel. The sand and shingle beach, sunbathing platforms, jetties and pontoons provide plenty of places to laze in the sun and the waters are calm and clear for swimming and snorkelling.
Things to Do
Along the beach you will find a diving centre and water sports centre offering a variety of activities such as diving, snorkelling, pedalos, kayaks, banana boats and jet skis.
Spend a relaxing day fishing on a fishing boat trip, which you can book at the harbour on the western side of the bay. You can also take leisurely boat trips around the islands and coves or, the ferry boat across the Gulluk bay to Didim and view the Temple of Apollo.
Out and About
Cafes, bars and beach shacks line the waterfront and whilst some bars have music, nightlife is low key. Restaurants tend to specialise in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine and you can enjoy an evening meal of meze and fresh fish (caught daily) by candle light, overlooking the bay.
