Beaches
Talamanca beach is set in a lovely bay, lying directly behind Ibiza Marina. The soft sands run for nearly a kilometre and shelve gently into the turquoise sea.
The water here is clear and shallow; ideal for swimming. You can hire pedalos from the beach but for a wide choice of watersports the beaches of Figueretas and Playa den Bossa are approx 10 minutes drive away or, from the Marina, just a quick trip on the ferry.
Things to Do
Walk around the bay, along the promenade and onto the Botafoch Marina. From the Marina you can take the ferry into Ibiza Town or to Santa Eulalia. You can also take cruises around the picturesque coastline of Ibiza and boat trips to alternative beaches. The ferry runs a regular service for day trips to the neighbouring island of Formentera where you can laze on the beaches or browse the artisan shops and markets.
Browse the boutiques and hippy markets surrounding the Marina and the harbour areas in Ibiza Town and try some of the chic restaurants. Head up to the old walled historic quarter of Dalt Vila and visit the Cathedral and the museums. Stroll around the quaint cobbled alleyways and admire stunning views from the bastions.
If you take the ferry to Santa Eulalia, you will find a great selection of shops and restaurants in the town or you can follow the walking trail from the marina along the promenade and the rivers edge, up the hill to the church for panoramic views. From here you could also hop on the land train and travel through the countryside or along the coast and visit inland villages or the Las Dalias hippy market.
Out and About
There are numerous bars and restaurants lying behind the beach and perfect to enjoy an evening meal by the waterfront with views to Ibiza Town.
Talamanca is a year round family friendly, relaxing beach resort and nightlife is laidback. The resort is also ideal for those who like to have the clubbing scene and beach parties of Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa in easy reach, but not on their doorstep.

The Aguamar Aqua Park and the famous beach clubs of Playa den Bossa are approx 5km; the beach at Figuerates is approx 3.5km and the historic quarter of Ibiza Town is approx 2.5km. Ibiza Golf Course is approx 8km.
