Beaches

The main beach is located east of the village and next to the pretty harbour. The lagoon like bay offers a sandy beach and calm waters making it ideal for families. A second beach is positioned 200 metres north of the village and is a mix of sand and rocks and as it is not as sheltered the waters can be quite choppy at times.

For those wishing to explore the surrounding area a good local bus service stops at nearby resorts including the lively resort of Chania.
