San Agustin is a quiet and relaxing resort that offers a 2 km black volcanic sand beach. Although the resort is quite quiet, the busier resorts of Maspalomas and Playa Del Ingles are very close.

The resort is ideal for getting away from it all but with the livelier resorts of Playa Del Ingles and Maspalomas on the doorstep. San Agustin is a 30 minute transfer from the airport.

San Agustin is a quiet resort with 2 main beaches; the wide sands of Las Burras beach and San Agustin beach, which are backed by a promenade and linked by a coastal walk. Water-sports available include scuba diving and snorkelling, surfing and sailing.
Things to Do
For fun and adventure you could visit the Aqualand water park (8.5km) or the Holiday World amusement park in Maspalomas (5.5km). Heading inland through the winding roads and rocky ravines you could have a day out at the lush gardens and zoo at Palmitos Park (18km) or a more cultural experience at Aborigine World, Mundo Aborigen (11km).
For an adrenalin rush, how about a race around the circuit at the Gran Karting Club or jumping from a plane at the Sky Diving centre in Bahia Feliz (3km). For a more leisurely time you can go shopping in Vecindario (11km) or enjoy a round of golf at Maspalomas (7km), Las Meloneras (10km) or Salobre Golf (15km).
Out and About
San Agustin shopping centre fills the gap between the main road and Las Burras beach and offers a number of shops, supermarkets, bars and eateries.
Further along the main road, behind the San Agustin beach, you will find the Casino Tamarindos and Dragos Disco. Other nearby venues for a popular night out include the wild west barbecue nights at Sioux City (4km) and the dinner and musical stage show at Garbos in Bahia Feliz (3km).
Nearby Attractions
San Agustin runs into the neighbouring resort of Playa del Ingles where you will find hundreds of bars, shops, eateries and nightclubs. The beach runs for miles from Playa del Ingles around to the vast Maspalomas sand dunes and there are many land-based activities, tours and water-sports to choose from.
However, for world-class surfing and the most spectacular scuba diving head in the other direction to Pozo Izquierdo and El Cabron, both within 19km.
