Port el Kantaoui is an attractive resort which offers narrow cobbled alleys and good range of boutiques, restaurants, cafes and gift shops. There are two PGA approved 18 hole golf courses and beaches with an abundance of water sports on offer. The playground of the yachting fraternity, the marina is as spectacular as those found on the Spanish coast. With a transfer time of approximately 45 minutes from Monastir, this is a resort suited not only to families, but golf enthusiasts as well.
Beaches
The North side of Port El Kantaoui has a beach lined with hotels, some of which are privately owned. South of the Marina is a smaller beach which is dotted with sun loungers and where travellers can enjoy a range of watersports on offer.
Things to Do
An hours drive from the resort is El Jem which is the largest, best preserved Roman amphitheatre and is where the film Gladiator was made.
Golfers have a good choice of courses including a sea course overlooking the ocean and a beautiful panoramic course with fountains and lakes.
