Playa de Esquinzo is a small resort home to a blue flag stretch of beach. The resort is made up of small sections of development near to the well established resorts. With Costa Calma and Morro Jable nearby you can enjoy a quiet holiday with the more active resorts nearby. The airport is approx 60 km from the resort.

Things to Do
Playa de Esquinzo is well placed for 4x4 safaris across the rugged terrains of the Jandia peninsula, enabling you to discover tranquil and desert-like landscapes, mountains and ravines with extensive views as well as the remote beaches and crashing surfs of the west coast.
Boat trips run from the harbour at Morro Jable (7.5km), as does the daily ferry from Fuerteventura to Gran Canaria. You can take a cruise around the south coast of the island or if scuba diving isn't your thing, the subcat is your solution to the see the colourful sights of the underwater world.
Out and About
Playa de Esquinzo is located on the south east coast of Fuerteventura, and comprises a select range of apartments and hotels, most of which are all-inclusive with on-site sports and leisure facilities. Most evening entertainment is also hotel based.
A wide choice of watersports, shops, bars and restaurants are available in the neighbouring resort of Jandia (2km) which is accessible via a pleasant walk along the beach or a 2 minute taxi ride on the main road.
Nearby Attractions
Heading north, the next resort is Costa Calma (15km), where there are weekly markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Along the way you can access the vast sands of Sotavento Beach, famous for the Rene Egli Centre and as a venue for the Windsurfing and Kiteboarding World Cup.
For a fun family day out, or indeed a pleasurable day at any age, there is a complimentary bus service from Playa de Esquinzo to Oasis Park in La Lajita (24km). The park features a landscaped animal park, botanic gardens, children's areas, a Sunday farmers market, a daily sea lion show and a woodland setting the scene for daily educational displays with the resident birds of prey.
