Things to Do
Dating back to the Bronze Age, the tiny old part of town is almost an island, with quaint cobbled streets and a rich history. Admire historic architecture at every step, ranging from the Roman fortress walls and the medieval basilica to the many well preserved ancient churches and buildings from the 18th and 19th century Bulgarian Revival period. Historic and cultural attractions here are the Archaeological Museum, the Ethnographic Museum and the Byzantine Thermal Baths.
If you're looking for other things to do in Nessebar, you could spend a lazy day on a boat trip from Nessebar harbour, take the kids for some family fun at the water park Aqua Paradise or, try a spot of wine-tasting at the Hristis Winery in the town.

Joined by a short road, lined with sea front walkways and marked by the symbolic windmill, the old and the new town offer quite different activities and atmospheres.
