Temperatures on Maui make it the perfect getaway any time of year, with just two seasons; summer runs from May to October where temperatures can reach the low-nineties, and the winter months from November to April with temperatures between the low-seventies to mid-eighties.
Night-time temperatures can be expected to drop by 10-15 degrees, and if visiting the Haleakala National Park, expect temperatures in the forties or lower.

The Haleakala National Park is simply a must and is home to the behemoth volcano from which the island of East Maui rose. The park offers some spectacular views and if you are feeling adventurous you can trek down into the crater which is a fantastic experience.
It is also worthwhile taking a trip down the highway to see the mountains, waterfalls and black sand beaches or take a trip to Lahaina, where you will find a main street lined with fantastic shops and restaurants leading to a beautiful wharf where you can set out to sea for a spot of whale watching or a beautiful sunset cruise. It is also possible to dive alongside sea turtles so whether its water based activities or land activities you will be sure to enjoy yourself on a trip to Maui.
There are tons of tours available which include helicopter trips, snorkelling over a tropical reef or an afternoon of whale watching and is quite easy to see why Maui is the second most visited Hawaiian island.

Maui is the place to visit for the hungry and thirsty traveller. The island has a wide choice of gourmet restaurants offering guests typical Hawaiian menus. Traditional foods including Lomi Salmon and Pork Poi. Other cuisines popular on the island are Japanese, Chinese and French. Whilst holidaying in Maui, relax and enjoy a traditional meal in one of the open sea restaurants where you can enjoy stunning views of the beautiful sea.
Dinner cruises are very popular in Maui where you can enjoy tropical gourmet dinner, choice of wine and typical Hawaiian music. Hawaii is known for traditional festivals like the Luau. Here you can try out some of the traditional Hawaiian food such as potato salad, poi, beef and ground taro.
