Lindos is one of the most famous and prettiest resorts of Rhodes with its spectacular views across the Mediterranean. A resort which will appeal to families and couples.
Lindos
Lindos is steeped in history and runs from the sandy bay up the steep hillside to the ancient Acropolis positioned at the top. The villages is made up of pretty white washed houses and has narrow alleyways that are vehicle free and transport throughout the village is by donkey. Hotels are located outside the central part of the village which consists of a handful of modest shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.

There are two separate beaches that share the same bay - Pallas Beach and Lindos main beach. Lindos main beach is a long stretch of golden sand fringed with tavernas. Watersports are available here including small motor boats and pedaloes. Pallas Beach is smaller and popular with locals and seems relatively quieter. For those wishing to explore the nearby coastline St Pauls Bay with its heart shape and rocky coves is a must! Alternatively there is Vlicha Beach which is 3km away from Lindos or the Navarone Bay made famous by the film "The Guns of Navarone".

Anyone visiting Lindos should visit the Acropolis and the historical sites that surround it.
