Kauai temperatures range between 85ºF and 69ºF, making a great holiday destination any time of the year.
The island features seven distinct micro-climates ranging from the rainforest to the arid plains of the West Side. Mount Waialeale is one of the wettest spots on earth with an average of 444 inches of rain per year, though don't worry the beaches see an average of only 35 inches per year with most rainfalls experienced at night.

Kauai is a tropical paradise with many fantastic beaches and beautiful scenery, it is ideal for a relaxing holiday. There is plenty to see and do so if you would rather be out and about, seeing new things then there is a whole host of things waiting here in Kauai.
The waters off of Kauai offer some of the finest sailing and snorkeling in Hawaii and with a great variety of tours and excursions, there is something for the whole family to enjoy.
If you prefer to be on dry land then why not have a game of golf. Kauai is home to many of Hawaii's top golf courses, boasting some of the most scenic and challenging layouts in Hawaii.
A couple of must see attractions are Kilohana Plantation and the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. At Kilohana Plantation, you have the opportunity to ride a historic train, hike through a rainforest and orchard, taste Kauai's only island-made rum, shop and dine at Kauai's top restaurant. At the Wildlife Refuge, you can get some amazing views overlooking the Pacific, observe seabirds in their natural habitat and also visit the historic Kilauea Lighthouse.
A popular activity here in Kauai is mountain tubing, where you sit on a rubber tube and explore the island's tropical interior. As you sit back and relax, you will ride through the mountainside flumes and tunnels that emerge to stunning views of beautiful and remote locations. So for a slightly different activity for those who don't mind getting wet, it is definitely worth a try.
For something a little more adventurous, why not try Zip 'n' Dip, where you go on a zip line through beautiful forests, kayak to a waterfall and then take a swim in the private swimming hole beneath the waterfall. A totally exhilarating experience not to be missed.

Kauai offers an abundance of tropical fruit with an amazing taste, perfect for a healthy diet. On the island they use only the freshest ingredients grown locally and available throughout. The cuisine produced on the island is a mixture of different influences with Hawaiian ingredients and French cooking techniques. Seafood is one of the main produces sold on the island, its freshly caught with beautiful flavour.
Dine in a luxury high end restaurant, eat in one of the American joints or one of the snack bars around the island. Locals love to hang out in small restaurants and snack bars, this is where you will get a great choice of the local cuisine.
