Cofresi, Dominican Republic

Cofresi lies approximately 10km to the west of Puerto Plata, the capital of the Amber Coast. What was once a small fishing village, it is now a stunning resort with a golden sandy beach lapped by crystal clear waters. Cofresi is also home to the Ocean World Adventure Park which has the worlds largest dolphin lagoon. An ideal resort for families.

Cofresi is set on a rugged yet picturesque coast and is a purpose built holiday village which is positioned on a sandy stretch of beach.

The village features a small complex with shops, restaurant and supermarket. The nearby town and port of Puerto Plata are nearby which offers a lively choice of clubs, casinos and restaurants.

The beautiful sandy beach offers a wealth of watersports including snorkelling.
