This popular tourist resort is situated on the northern coast of Sicily and boasts a nice beach, a picturesque harbour and an old town with many places of interest. As well as the many historical buildings in the town, there is a maze of winding ancient streets with bustling shops and restaurants. The beautiful beaches are great for lazy days.

Visitors can see the remains of many ruins including that of a 13th century palace and the Temple of Diana. All in all a popular destination with plenty to see.
