The beach

Cala Santanyi is a beach of fine sand; sheltered between two rocky headlands the water is shallow and crystal clear, ideal for snorkelling. Sun-beds, parasols and pedalos are available to hire, and there are two beach bar-restaurants.

Out and about

Cala Santanyi is a quiet resort just 3 km from the small inland town of Santanyi, where the journey is possible by a public bus service. Other bus routes operated from Cala Santanyi include the islands capital of Palma, and the nearby resort of Colonia Sant Jordi.

There are just a handful of shops and restaurants in Cala Santanyi for a wider selection head inland to Santanyi particularly on a Saturday for market day where local products, crafts and gifts can be found. Also just a 15-minute drive away in opposite directions are the popular holiday resorts of Colonia Sant Jordi and Cala d'Or.
