Cala San Vicente is a peaceful Majorcan fishing village which has been built around several small beaches, providing the ideal base for a relaxed and quiet holiday.

The beach
There are three sandy coves in the resort; Cala Molins, Cala Clara and Cala Barques all of which are sandy and with clear water. The latter two are both shingly when you reach the water while Cala Molins has a sandy bed and is often the busiest of the three.
On the outskirts of the resort is a small rocky cove; Cala Carbo, it's a much quieter beach and a great spot for snorkelling and diving.
Things to do
Whilst there's not much to do here except while away the hours on the beach and in the sea, the resort does features its own crazy-golf course, and for those who take golf a little more seriously there is the Pollensa 9-hole golf course around 5-km away, or the Alcanada 18-hole course just outside Alcudia 15-km away.
There are some great walking routes nearby including an hour long walk along the cliffs to Puerta de Pollensa. Cala San Vicente is also home to several man-made caves which date back to the Bronze Age, a couple of which are open to the public.
Out and about
The resort has a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants catering for tourists needs, with fresh sea-food on most menus. There is little in the way of nightlife here with entertainment predominantly hotel-based, however the popular holiday resort of Peurto de Pollensa is just a short 5 km drive away offering a wider selection of restaurants and livelier bars.

If the sedate lifestyle of Cala San Vicente is too slow there are plenty of fun and cultural things to do in the surrounding area. Just 5-km from the neighbouring resort of Puerto de Pollensa home to the Fantasy World Indoor Play-area ideal for families with younger children, you're also just 5-km from the old town of Pollensa which features some interesting historical buildings and the famous 365 Calvario Steps leading to a hillside chapel.
Nature lovers and bird watchers will enjoy the S'Albufereta Natural Reserve and the larger S'Albufera Natural Park, these large areas consist of marsh, lakes, riverside woodland and coastal ecosystems, and are packed with wildlife and many species of bird.
The popular holiday resort of Alcudia offers plenty of attractions, families will love the Hidropark which offers pools, waterslides, mini-golf and much more, there is also the Laberinth Maze Fun-park and a large karting track. Alcudia is also a city of historical interest with its Roman walls, a Roman theatre, a small Roman church and even a 19th century bull-ring.
