Benahavis is a lovely Spanish mountain village located just between Marbella, Estepona, and Ronda. An ideal holiday destination for those who would appreciate a quieter base away from the busier seaside resorts.

Situated up in the mountains, Benahavis has numerous trails perfect for walkers and hikers to take in the stunning scenery. If you don't wish to explore by foot hire a mountain bike or maybe even take a jeep safari. The village has a municipal swimming pool open throughout the summer as well as a golf driving range and a sports complex offering tennis, paddle tennis and football facilities.
Out and about
Called the 'dining room of the Costa del Sol' by many, Benahavis has an abundance of excellent restaurants in the village centre. Many of the restaurants serve typical Spanish cuisine however there are also several international restaurants such as Italian and Indian. The nightlife is fairly low key with visitors usually spending their evenings in one of the many bars enjoying a quiet drink. For a livelier night out, Puerto Banus with its lively bars and clubs is just 20 minutes away.

Definitely on the places to visit list should be Puerto Banus. Located just 20 minutes from Benahavis, Puerto Banus is a chic and glamorous resort popular with the rich and famous. Take a stroll along the marina taking in the views of the luxurious yachts, enjoy a spot of shopping in one of the designer boutiques, or have a bite to eat in one of the splendid restaurants.
