Beaches

Bayahibe has a stunning shoreline with powdery white sands which are fringed by palm trees. The artificial reef attracts the marinelife and is ideal for snorkellers and scuba divers wishing to view the underwater world.

Things to Do

For those wishing to tear themselves away from the beach life there are many excursions on offer. Visitors can take catamaran trips to the nearby Saona Island and spend the day relaxing on the unspoilt shores.

The Parque Nacional del Este is nearby where there is a wildlife preserve where there is a extensive network of caves. In the surrounding area visitors can take river trips and excursions to the nearby villages and plantations.
