This resort has an amazing beach, one of the best in the north of the island. It is a large beach, both long and wide with soft golden sand which gently shelves and remains shallow for a long way out making it ideal for children to play and swim safely.

Alykes is famed for its large stretch of golden sandy beach which has been awarded the blue flag for cleanliness. The beach here is ideal for families and those who prefer calm, shallow waters which slope gently into the sea.

Out and About

This traditional and picturesque resort offers a range of restaurants and tavernas which cater to most tastes including the typical Greek dishes of pastries, cheeses and Greek souvlaki. The resort also offers lively bars and clubs for nightly entertainment.

Nearby attractions

If you are bored of lying on the beach there are many interesting excursions to take including a trip to Smugglers Cove, the shipwreck and the beautiful Blue Caves.
