Alghero is described as being one of the most attractive coastal resorts on the island and manages to combine it's role of tourist area with that of it's busy port. As well as there being lots to see there is also lots to do such as scuba diving, climbing and mountain biking.

The old town centre is situated on the sea front and has a whole host of narrow lanes which are relatively car free. The small streets contain numerous bars and cafes which gives you the chance to sample some of that amazing seafood.
