Tossa de Mar is a laid back resort which appeals to couples and families seeking a relaxing holiday in a picturesque setting. This pretty town well known for its five golf courses, the beach is shingle and is host to a variety of watersports and boat trips.

Beaches
The main beach of Tossa de Mar is a horseshoe shaped bay which offers a selection of water sports and sun loungers and parasols for hire. In addition to the main beach there are many smaller coves and bays which offer a quieter setting for those who wish to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Theres never a dull moment here, choose from one of the watersports on offer such as pedalos, jet skiing or parasailing or maybe take a coastal boat cruise. For a great family day out kids of all ages will enjoy, head to the marineland zoo which has a huge range of animals including dolphins, sea lions, a reptile house and parrot shows to name but a few of the attractions.
Out and about
Tapas, seafood and traditional Catalan cuisine are widely available in the resort plus there are many restaurants offering international cuisines and specialities catering for all budget types. The night life in the resort is fairly low key compared to some of the neighbouring party towns, however there is a good choice of bars to enjoy a beverage or two.
Nearby places of interest
For a great day out filled with thrills and excitement head to Port Aventura Theme Park, although its approx a 2 hour drive away, it is well worth the journey for the exciting roller coasters, rides and entertainment. A big hit with visitors of all ages.
