Pissouri, Cyprus
Pissouri Village and the Bay of Pissouri lay midway between Paphos and Limassol. A traditional area with many local tavernas and close to Aphrodite's Rock.
Pissouri
The traditional Pissouri village is set on the hill overlooking the Bay of Pissouri, around 4km below. Full of Cypriot character Pissouri Village attracts many visitors to its quaint streets, with a pleasant pedestrianised village square, there are a surprising number of shops, tavernas and restaurants here.
The Pissouri Beach started out as a jetty and one small taverna, now home to several shops, tavernas, hotels and apartment buildings. The beach is pebbly with a selection of watersports available through the summer months.

Situated halfway between the popular holiday destinations of Pathos and Limassol both around 30km away, makes Pissouri the ideal base for easy access into each town. Both Limassol and Paphos feature a number of historic and archaeological sites, numerous shopping opportunities, a lively night scene and each has its own waterpark.
Around 3km from Pissouri is the famed Aphrodite's Rock, where mythology states as the birthplace of Aphrodite. Climbing is not permitted on the rock and the sea here is generally to rough for swimming, though there is a restaurant and tourist pavilion close by.
