The Da Luz Hotel is located in a small quiet side street just a short distance from the local shops in Santa Maria. A little walk gives you access to the beaches (300 metres).

The small cosy hotel offers a swimming pool, a sun terrace, a bar and a restaurant.
The Bar & Restaurant are open from 12:30 to 15:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00. Evening meals are served from 19.00 to 21.30 pm.

Very poor. Water supply iffy. A hot shower unlikely. No kettle in the room, fridge not chilled, safety deposit box doesn’t work. Deadlock to room door broken so I have put a chair up against the door...

Room: Clean with nice bed. Aircon did not work, and even that we notified the staff, nothing was done to fix it.
