Cape Verde has nine inhabited islands all of which are brimming with their own individual character. Most enjoy long sweeping beaches and are slowly becoming the ideal watersports holiday destination. The most popular islands are Sal, Boa Vista, San Vicente and Santiago. Cape Verde certainly is not a mass tourism destination just yet but is becoming ever more popular.
