Overview

Pickalbatros Aqua Park Hurghada is a child friendly all inclusive resort with multiple swimming pools, water slides, sports courts and entertainment. The beach is a short walk through the neighbouring Beach Albatros Hurghada hotel, or you can take the hotel shuttle.

Location

Pickalbatros Aqua Park Hurghada is located directly behind the Beach Albatros Hurghada, placing it approximately 500 metres from the beach with free sun loungers and a free shuttle bus if you don't fancy walking. The hotel is approx 17km from the centre of Hurghada and approx 10km from Hurghada International Airport.

Facilities

Pickalbatros Aqua Park Hurghada features a large outdoor swimming pool complex set in landscaped gardens. There is a lagoon style swimming pool with a section for children, a pool with 4 large water slides and 2 smaller pools together with sun terraces, sun loungers and parasols. There's also the Jungle Aqua Park nearby, with waterslides for all ages and a Jacuzzi. This facility is available for a local charge per person, per stay.

Further leisure facilities and activities available to guests include tennis courts, multi-sports courts, beach volleyball, a children's playground, mini golf, table tennis, a fitness centre and a wellness centre. The wellness centre (local charges) offer massage treatments and is equipped with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath.

The animation team organise a variety of competitive activities during the day, a kids club for children aged 4-12 and evening entertainment such as sunset dinner and dance.

Social and dining venues include 4 restaurants, a bar serving alcoholic drinks from 10am to midnight. The main restaurant serves buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the evenings, there are 3 A la Carte restaurants specialising in Italian, Chinese and Oriental cuisine.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception, concierge and ticket bookings, luggage storage, ATM cash machine and currency exchange. There is also a selection of shops, a barber and beauty salon, WiFi in public areas, babysitting, laundry and dry cleaning, safe deposit boxes, bike hire and car hire (all with local charges).

There are 243 hotel rooms offering tastefully styled accommodation sized to suit couples and families. All room types feature satellite TV with free movie channels, a fridge, mini bar, safe and air conditioning.

Family rooms have a bedroom, a lounge and a bathroom with shower. Standard rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool or gardens.

The AI programme consists of breakfast 07:00-10:00, late breakfast 10:00-11:00, lunch 12:30-14:30 and dinner 18:30-21:30, all buffet style (international & oriental), served in the main restaurant 'The White Hall'. Also at the disposal of the AI guests for lunch is the Taverna 12:30-15:00, buffet and the terrace 14:30-16:00. A variety of snacks are available between 12:30-16:00 at the Habana pool bar as well as from 12:30-14:30 at the beach Albatros taverna bar.

Tea & coffee time is from 16:00-17:00 at the lobby bar. Children can have ice creams from 12:00-20:00. Late night snacks are offered twice a week in the lobby bar from 23:00-24:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10:00-24:00 at the terrace bar (10:00-18:00 & 19:00-23:00), the pool bar

(10:00-18:00), the lobby bar (18:00-24:00) and the taverna bar (10:00-17:00).
