St George South is a a family-orientated resort with two good beaches. The resort is popular amongst people travelling with children as there is little traffic and uncrowded, wide, sandy beaches.

There are two beautiful beaches here who have both won the Blue Flag for cleanliness and the gently shelving beach means its ideal for children. Watersports including paragliding and snorkelling are available on the beach.

Nearby Attractions

There are many interesting historical sights to see within the nearby vicinity of St George South including the Gardiki Fort, a Byzantine ruin, which is only 8 km away. Alternatively island tours and boat trips to Paxos island are available and buses run daily to both Corfu Town and Kavos for those looking for livelier resorts with plenty of shops, restaurants and historical attractions.
