There are many things to do on the island with many modes of transport accessible. A must see is the Crocodile park, which is home to more than 300 crocodiles and alligators from all over the world. The other half of the park is a zoo, which has sections on monkeys and chimpanzees, tigers, jaguars, camels and much more. This resort is perfect for those who want to be within easy reach of the attractions, but ensuring a relaxed and peaceful holiday.

Set around a peaceful bay, the resort of Playa del Cura rises amphitheatrically from the dark sands of the beach. Many of the hotels and apartments are terraced into the sides of the cliff and overlooking the ocean.
Things to Do
Just 2km from the resort you will find the Anfi Tauro Golf Club, beautifully located in the lush Tauro Valley and encircled by mountains. The club is set around landscaped gardens and lakes and boasts an 18 hole championship golf course, a 9 hole par 3 course, chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers, a driving range, a pro-golf shop and a golf academy.
Also within 2km of Playa del Cura lies the beautiful white sands of Amadores Beach, which sits in a protected bay with calm, turquoise swimming waters and a good choice of watersports.
For family-friendly fun days out you could visit the Atlantida waterpark in Puerto Rico or the Lago Oasis waterpark in the neighbouring resort of Taurito (4km).
Out and About
The shopping centres and bright lights of Puerto Rico are 3km from Playa del Cura or, a pleasant walk along the cliff top from Amadores.
There is a weekly market at Puerto Mogan on Fridays or, if you take the ferry to Arguineguin, the market is held there on Tuesdays.
The rugged landscapes and deep ravine behind the resort is ideal for walking and hiking.
Nearby Attractions
The harbour at Puerto Mogan is approx 10km away and from here you can take a ferry to Puerto Rico or Arguineguin, a dolphin-spotting cruise or go game fishing. There is also a PADI diving centre and a sailing school as well as watersports such as parascending, jet skis and pedalos.
